Dr. Karageanes

 

Steven J. Karageanes, DO, FAOASM

Dr. Karageanes specializes in sports injuries including knee, ankle and chronic athletic, adult and pediatric care, concussion management, neck and back injuries, and has experience with professional, collegiate and Olympic athletes.

Dr. Karageanes received his degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, East Lansing, Michigan. He completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at Lutheran Hospital Cleveland Clinic Foundation Cleveland, Ohio, and Family Practice residency at Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Chicago, Illinois.

Dan Wolocko

Dan Wolocko is the Director of Sports Therapy & Sports Performance. Dan has over 10 years of sports medicine experience in metro Detroit and specializes in rehabilitation and conditioning of athletes of all ages.

He received his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Fitness in Preventative and Rehabilitative Programs from Central Michigan University. Dan is a licensed physical therapist, a certified strength and conditioning specialist (through the National Strength and Conditioning Association), a certified pitching instructor (through the National Pitching Association) and is a certified medical professional with the Titleist Performance Institute. Dan is a trainer of and consultant to local sports teams & clubs and actively participates in local community education programs and seminars with presentations on biomechanics and injury prevention.

     
   

Jenna Cooper, DPT

Jenna has experience with orthopedic populations with joint dysfunctions, soft tissue mobilization (STM), joint mobilizations and return to function training. She is a previous collegiate basketball player and uses both her professional and personal experiences to assist individuals of all ages to return to their sport of play safely. Jenna graduated from Wayne State University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She also received a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Wayne State University.

     
   

Brad Krieg , ATC, CSCS, PES

Brad Krieg is experienced in both sports medicine and sports performance. His experience encompasses a variety of venues, including Division I, II, III, NAIA athletics, semi-pro baseball, physical therapy clinics and many high schools. Most notably, Brad worked in professional baseball as a strength coach and athletic trainer with the Chicago Cubs organization. Additionally, he played four years of high school baseball and two years of collegiate golf. Brad holds many certifications that put him at the top of his field for training athletes, including: Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainers Association, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and has received certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine for Performance Enhancement Specialization (PES) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). Brad received a Bachelor's of Science from Illinois State University in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine and a Master's in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with Specialization in Injury Prevention and Performance Enhancement from California University of Pennsylvania.
