Anthony W. Boutt Named January Patient-Focused Physician of the Month

Port Huron, MI…Anthony W. Boutt, MD, was named the January 2012 St. Joseph Mercy Patient-Focused Physician of the Month. The St. Joseph Mercy Patient-Focused Physician of the Month award highlights a physician’s commitment to working collaboratively to promote patient and community health through clinical excellence and patient-focused care. Physicians honored with this award must also be one whom St. Joseph Mercy Hospital staff and volunteers would recommend to family and friends in the community.

A surgeon, Dr. Boutt provides care and treatment to patients through Huron Surgical Clinic, PC. He was nominated for demonstrated practice of dedication to his patients.

“As a team player, Dr. Boutt always communicates effectively with clinical staff in the coordination of holistic care of his patients,” comments his nominator. “In daily practice he displays a positive approach and is committed to exceptional patient quality and clinical outcomes. Nominations are accepted from all staff and volunteers, and are blinded and reviewed by a Nominations Review Committee. The award is presented monthly to a physician on staff at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
