St. Mary Mercy Livonia relocates Sleep Disorders Center offsite
St. Mary Mercy Hospital has relocated its Sleep Disorders Center to an offsite location in the Heritage Commons complex at 14600 Farmington Rd., Suite 101, in Livonia. An Open House will be held 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at its new location.
The new location doubles the size of the Sleep Disorders Center at its former site on the St. Mary Mercy Hospital campus and allows for an increase of private rooms, from four to six, to accommodate additional patients.
At the Open House, visitors can tour the new building, meet staff and learn more about how the St. Mary Mercy Sleep Disorders Center can improve overall health.
Offering sleep services since 1998, the St. Mary Mercy Livonia Sleep Disorders Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), meeting the highest standards of quality patient care established by the AASM. The staff includes Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and Physicians certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine specializing in Critical Care, Pulmonary Medicine and Neurology.
The center treats many sleep disorders, including:
• Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)
• Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)
• Night terrors
• REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD)
Sleep studies are offered seven days per week. Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patients can be referred by their doctor, or call the Sleep Disorders Center for more information at (734) 655-4640.
