Chelsea Community Hospital is planning a “Rock Out Concert Tour” this Spring, and the community is invited to join in the fun for a great cause.
The 27th Annual CCH Spring Auction promises a night of fun and excitement, with proceeds funding the purchase of a linear accelerator. Part of the Hospital’s long-term goal to build a comprehensive cancer center, the linear accelerator will provide radiation therapy for cancer patients at CCH.
The Auction will be held on Saturday, May 12, at the UA 190 – IBEW 252 Hall, 7920 Jackson Road. The silent auction, raffle, strolling buffet, and dessert bar will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by the exciting Live Auction at 8:30 pm, conducted by Auctioneer Steve Gross.
Guests are invited to dress up in their favorite rock concert attire and enjoy the rock concert atmosphere and décor. Concert-inspired refreshments will include a strolling buffet and a variety of delicious desserts. Prizes for best man and women’s costume will be awarded. This year’s auction is chaired by Johnny and Cindy Mitchell and co-chaired by Jona Gill, MD, and her husband, Randy Hermann.
“The Auction is always an exciting, fun atmosphere for everyone to enjoy,” says Judy Stratman, Director of Marketing and Development. “Year after year, our guests tell us how much they enjoy coming to this event. It’s like having a night out just for fun – while supporting a very important cause.”
Stratman emphasized that all the money raised in Chelsea stays in Chelsea. “We want the community to know that their donations benefit their community. All the money raised at this Auction will go directly to Chelsea’s linear accelerator.”
Many local community members and businesses have generously donated items for the event. Live auction highlights include a Common Grill dinner party, a Cancun Villa vacation, a Boca Grande vacation, a New York City trip, a VIP NASCAR package, Detroit Red Wings tickets, and a stay at a Glacier vacation home.
Tickets are $100 each and may be purchased by calling Christy Lange at 734-475-4040, ext. 3322, or email@example.com. After April 27, the entire Auction program will be available online at www.cch.org/special-events.
