Celebrities and players aim to raise $150,000 for Behavioral Health Services

CANTON, Mich. – The 17th annual St. Joe’s Pro Am is slated for Wednesday, June 18 at Pheasant Run Golf Club, located at 46500 Summit Parkway in Canton.

Proceeds from the Pro Am will benefit patients who rely on St. Joe's for Behavioral Health Services and whose need for care extends beyond the walls of the hospital. The committee's goal is to raise $150,000 to support earlier interventions and bring resources to patients and physicians so that they can connect with care before a mental health crisis or an ER visit or hospitalization is needed.

Leading the Pro Am’s philanthropic efforts are $10,000 Graphite Sponsor Paragon Metals, Inc. Worldwide Precision Machining and $5,000 Eagle Sponsors Ferrantino Charitable Foundation, Inc. / Kellie & Mike Ferrantino, Gil-Mar Manufacturing and Meijer.

• Four-time Stanley Cup Champion, former Detroit Red Wing player and assistant coach, Joe Kocur

Registration and continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start follows at 9 a.m. The St. Joe’s Pro Am will conclude with a cocktail reception, awards dinner and silent auction.
