Get the basics of infant care and breastfeeding all in one class. This class is designed for first time expectant parents to learn about basic newborn care. Focus is on the first two weeks of life, and includes information on feeding, burping, bonding, diapering, bathing, infant safety and much more!
A St. Mary Mercy Hospital Certified Pediatrician will discuss infant illness and child immunization. In addition; new parents will learn breastfeeding techniques including positioning, pumping, storage and breast care. This class is open to anyone who cares for an infant. Grandparents also welcome to enroll!
Class will be held in Classroom 1 & 2 located off the Pavilion Lobby. Please enter through the south entrance (off Levan Road).
There will be a 30 minute lunch break. Bring your lunch, snacks and beverage. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class starting time.REGISTER FOR YOURSELF. YOUR SUPPORT PERSON IS FREE
