Chelsea Community Hospital's Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit received the 2007 Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence, an award given to the nation's top critical care units.
CCH is one of 17 hospitals nationwide to receive the award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the first in Michigan. Recipients are chosen for demonstrated quantitative success when measured against evidence-based national criteria in areas that impact patient care.
